How Your Care Journey Begins
From your first message to an active care team — here is exactly what happens and when.
1
Initial Health Assessment
We begin with a health questionnaire and an initial assessment to establish a baseline. The measurements and tests included depend on the assessment package you select.
2
Your Rikenda Health Profile
Your health information is organised into a structured profile to help identify priorities, relevant risk factors and areas requiring follow-up.
3
Meet Your Dedicated Team
Your team reviews the health profile and builds a personalised support plan. You receive a copy so you are fully informed and in control.
4
Ongoing Care Coordination
Your team helps you stay on track through scheduled check-ins and follow-up. Where appropriate, Rikenda can help coordinate communication with your existing healthcare providers.

Common Questions
from Families
Don’t see your question? Our team responds within 24 hours on WhatsApp — no question is too small.
Is the Rikenda Baseline Assessment a recurring payment
No. The baseline assessment is a one-time payment. Your ongoing care membership is a separate recurring payment, unless a specific package states otherwise.
Does Rikenda replace my doctor?
No. Rikenda supports continuity, follow-up and care coordination between appointments. Diagnosis and treatment remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
Is this the same as telemedicine?
No. Telemedicine is a one-off video consultation. Rikenda is continuous care — a fixed team that checks in regularly, tracks trends over time, and proactively manages your family member’s health between doctor visits. We complement the clinic; we don’t replace it.
Can I pay for a parent or another family member?
You can enquire about sponsoring a family member’s care. The member’s participation, consent and privacy must be respected, and any information shared with a sponsor will be subject to the applicable consent arrangements.
Who exactly is on the care team?
Your family member is assigned a dedicated Chronic Care Specialist (primary monitoring and ongoing follow-up), a nutritionist (dietary guidance), and a counsellor (behavioural support and long-term adherence). A Medical Director oversees all clinical decisions and countersigns every Monthly Stability Certificate.
How do I pay from abroad?
We accept payment in USD, GBP, and CAD via card or bank transfer. Monthly billing, no contracts, cancel anytime. We specifically designed the payment process for diaspora families.
Where is Rikenda currently available?
We are now enrolling founding members in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, with plans to expand across Nigeria as the model is validated. Join the waitlist and we will notify you when we reach your location.
